Dried Beef Casserole
Dried Beef Casserole or creamed dried beef used to be a staple in many diets a few decades ago. A long popular but sometimes forgotten dish that could be served for breakfast,lunch or dinner. Ingredients- 1 (10 3/4 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup elbow macaroni
- 3 T. onion, chopped
- 1/4 Lb. dried beef
- 1 cup mild flavor cheese (monterrey jack, muenster, mozzarella etc.)
- 2 hard boiled eggs, chopped
Combine soup and milk, stir until well mixed. Add the balance of ingredients and stir gently. Place into a greased 2 quart casserole, chill overnight for flavors to blend. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for one hour.. Stir once about half way through baking time. Serves 4.
