Fresh Fruit and Bubbles: A Spring Fling
Fresh fruit and bubbles is so easy but it just tastes so good. Change the flavor by making all kinds of combinations to whatever is your personal preferences. Just remember, the fruit itself though needs the first step in soaking and freezing to help keep the fruit firm in your drink.
Ingredients64 calories per 8 oz glass - 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 1/2 cups strawberries, raspberries, peaches, blackberries, blueberries, or any other fruit of your choice
- 12 oz sugarfree lemon-lime soda or flavor of your choice
Pour the lemon juice into a small container. Add small amounts of fruit and dip each piece in lemon juice. Transfer to a cookie sheet and freeze till solid (space fruit so sides do not touch to prevent one great big lump of frozen product) After frozen solid, bag and keep frozen till ready for use. To serve: Place 6-8 pieces of fruit per glass and follow by filling the glass with soda. Use additional fruit pieces if desired.
