Fresh Fruit Popsicles:
A Touch Of Summer
In Every Bite

A touch of summer can be found anytime of the year with these special fresh fruit popsicles. Change up your selection of fruit, experiment a little with fresh lemons and limes, and keep a stockpile of these assorted fruits in the freezer when you have just got to have something sweet and filling.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh fruit cubed (seedless watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, peaches or fruit of your choice)
  • 2 T. fresh-squeezed lemon or lime juice

Combine the fruit and juice of your choice in a blender or food processor and process until smooth. Pour into 6 small paper cups. Freeze for approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours until a firm slushy consistency. Insert a popsicle stick and freeze till firm, approximately 6 hours. Use within 5-7 days for the best texture and to prevent freezer burn.
