Frozen Fruit and Yogurt Pie
Frozen fruit and yogurt pie is so easy to prepare if you take a few shortcuts with some of the ingredients. Switch off whipped cream for sugarfree Cool Whip and fresh peaches can become a can of pear juice concentrate packed peaches. With a few simple substitutions, a beautiful but delicious dessert can be ready in no time. Ingredients- 2 containers( 8 oz. each) fat-free vanilla or peach yogurt
- 1 tub (8 oz.) thawed sugarfree Cool Whip
- 2 cups fresh peaches (with a squirt of lemon juice ) or 1 can sugarfree sliced peaches, drained***
- 1 store bought sugarfree graham cracker crumb crust
Stir yogurt into thawed cool whip until combined. Stir in peaches. Spoon entire filling into pie crust.
Freeze 4 hours or overnight till solid.
To serve: remove from freezer and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes. Cut into 8 servings.
*** For variety, change the flavors of yogurt and fruit to some of your favorites. Strawberries, blueberries, mandarin oranges all work well.
