Mandarin Orange Fruit Salad:
A Sweet Summer's Treat

Mandarin orange fruit salad is a pleasant combination of oranges, pineapple and bananas in a creamy base to delight any citrus lover's senses. Many combinations of fruits can be combined to change up the flavor of this special treat with a little experimenting you can find some other popular favorites.

Ingredients

8 servings= 1 cup per serving= 252 calories

  • 1 can(20oz) pineapple chunks in pineapple juice, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) mandarin orange segments, packed in juice, drained
  • 1 cup non-fat, non-dairy whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup fat free pineapple or orange yogurt
  • 2 bananas, sliced

In a medium bowl combine the pineapples and oranges. Stir in the whipped topping and yogurt until completely blended. Refrigerate for 2 hours for flavors to blend.

Just before serving, slice the bananas and stir in gently. Garnish with an orange curl if desired.
