No-Milk Shake

The no-milk shake is delicious and so versatile because it can be made with a large assortment of fresh fruits. Try some of each to include a generous assortment of variety into your diet.

Ingredients

  • 1 very large ripe banana, sliced
  • 1 cup chopped fruits- choose from berries, pears, apples, oranges, grapefruit, cantaloupe, honeydew , plums, peaches or apricots.
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 T. lemon juice
  • stevia to taste, if desired

Place the first four ingredients in the blender. Process until smooth, approximately 30 seconds (large or tougher fruits may tale a little more). Taste. Add more lemon juice or stevia if desired. If too thick, dilute with water. Serve with ice cubes.
