Spicy Baked Fries:
A Twist On A Favorite

Spicy baked fries can be prepared so many ways just by changing up the seasonings that you use. Pick your favorite, Italian fries, Mexican fries etc., change up the spices and enjoy the results.

Ingredients

4 servings= 12 fries/serving=156 calories

  • 4 large yellow-gold potatoes
  • 4 tsps. canola oil
  • non-stick cooking spray
  • 1/2 tsp salt-free seasoning
  • 1/8 tsp ground red pepper flakes (or chili powder)

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
Slice the potatoes the long way into 1/4 inch slices. Rinse under cold water. Pat dry.

Combine the oil and potatoes in a large bowl to coat. Transfer to a cookie sheet sprayed with non-stick spray, sides not touching. Bake for 20 minutes or till golden brown. Remove and sprinkle with seasoning. Serve.
