Steak Topped Pizza

Steak topped pizza just puts two favorites together and most people can't wait until it comes from the oven or off the grill. Save some already prepared steak from the night you have the BLT Mock Steakwiches and your dinner is already half way there.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 to 1/2 lb sirloin steak, sliced thinly
  • 1/4 tsp coarsely ground black pepper
  • 1 prebaked pizza crust
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (or tomato sauce)
  • 1 cup sliced sweet onion
  • 1 small zucchini, chopped
  • 1 T. olive oil
  • 2 tsp. Italian herb mix (oregano, basil, garlic salt)
  • 3 T. grated Parmesan cheese

Sprinkle pepper on meat and prepare to desired doneness on the grill or in a skillet over medium high heat on stove.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees or the grill.

Spread the crust with the marinara sauce, onion, zucchini and sprinkle olive oil all over the top. Arrange the sliced steak pieces, sprinkle with Italian seasonings and then with parmesan cheese.

Place on aluminum foil on grill and heat, covered for approximately 20 minutes. (If you are using the oven, bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 6 servings.
