Trial and Error : No Easy Way To Find A Solution

It seems I just coasted along most of my life, not realizing their was anything wrong out there for many people.
Of course I had heard people talk about allergy before, we all do. But you always just think that's one of those things that happens to the other guy, not to me.
I come from a small town in rural Mexico. We have stores and stuff in our town but there is hardly any selection. We have to go to the city for that.
Somehow my learning about allergies has all changed in the last few years. More and more things seem to keep going wrong.
One of those is toilet paper, soap, sanitary napkins, tampons. If it touches my skin anywhere down there, I do get a rash.
At first all the doctors could say is it's a vaginal infection - to them, that meant one more antibiotic.
I have always hated taking antibiotics though because my whole life I think the cure is worse than the disease. I always ended up with another big itchy smelly rash. I eventually found out it was a horrible yeast infection.
After years of grief with all their suggestions (and more drugs and more drugs), I just started trying to use my own common sense instead.
I am getting closer now to feeling better. I keep changing up my purchases when I find something that doesn't cooperate with my skin. Only problem is I must go so far away to get my supplies.
My other family members laugh at me when shopping. I am the only person that buys 10 kinds of toilet paper, they say.
The best advice I can give so far, if there is a long list of ingredients when you are going to try a new product, don't bother buying it. It is not going to work anyway. I just keep looking till I find something else with fewer names and all ones I can pronounce.
