Vitamins and Minerals:
Good Balance For Nutritional Health

Receiving a good balance of vitamins and minerals, whether it is from the foods that you eat or from nutritional supplementation is one of the first building blocks necessary to achieving good health.

Although we do achieve a percentage of vitamins and minerals from all of the many foods we eat on a daily basis, the #1 most advantageous source is from fresh organic produce. Increasing your immune system's health will rejuvenate your own health and vitality.

Easy Ways To Increase Your Nutrient Intake

Increasing the amounts of nutrients you get into your body is really not all that difficult. You just have to make a concerted effort to change your daily diet a little and add the foods which are plentiful in the nutrients you need. Try some of these simple suggestions to get more vitamins and minerals in your diet every day:

  • Juicing - have yourself a fruit or vegetable drink every day made from a good quality juicer, blender or food processor. It's almost like making an unlimited number of milk shakes daily with an unlimited number of flavors

  • Add vegetables and juices to your soups, stews, casseroles, or use them as the broth when you fix vegetables or meat dishes instead of oil or water. If you are using fresh juices, just remember to add them close to the end of your cooking time in soups and stews because excess heat can and will reduce the nutritional value of your fresh juices.

  • Add some fruit or vegetable kabobs to your snack time. Thread your favorites onto a skewer, or toothpick, and nibble your way through a healthy snack instead of hitting the junk food machine every afternoon or evening

  • Follow a juice therapy nutritional fasting program under the guidance of a medical practitioner for the first time until you become familiar with its requirements for your body's protection

Although there is other sources of many of these nutrients also, this list of vitamins and minerals shows the most common sources available to everyone with easy access for a daily basis. If you try raising your intake of these, you may effectively find you will not have to rely on one more pill that comes from another bottle to get your necessary requirements.
