Winter Snowballs

Winter snowballs is a delight to see and yummy to eat. Kids and adults alike "dive in" and usually go back for more. It is easy to change the theme or season with this recipe by just changing the topping on the outside of the whipped topping.

Ingredients

  • 1 tub sugarfree Cool Whip, thawed (or whipped topping of your choice)
  • 24 cupcakes, baked and any papers removed
  • 8 cups sweetened flaked coconut

Hold cupcake upside down,(the top of cupcake will be in the palm of your hand), and spread both bottom and all of the sides with cool whip. Sprinkle flaked coconut (over the entire area with whipped cream) over top of a bowl or cookie sheet to catch any extra falling. Press coconut into whipped cream gently with your hand. Transfer to a serving plate, top of cupcake down on plate. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Makes 24 pieces.
